MADD Needs Your Helphelping hands
Alcohol-related traffic deaths are on the rise and underage drinking levels have reached a plateau. Now more than ever, MADD needs your help keeping our roadways safe and supporting victims of this violent crime. 

Please consider making a charitable donation in support of MADDs lifesaving work. Or to find out how you can volunteer to make a difference, contact volunteer@madd.org.

Twenty years ago, on February 22nd, 1983, 13-year-old Todd Morsilli was struck and killed while walking.  Todd was a nationally ranked tennis player at the time of his death.  The 17 year-old driver ran from the scene, and eventually received only a suspended sentence.  read the full story

MADD and Past President Millie I. Webb Awarded Fries Prize for Improving Health
MADD and immediate past President Millie I. Webb received today the "2002 Fries Prize for Improving Health" from the Healthtrac Foundation at the National Conference on Chronic Disease Prevention and Control in St. Louis, Missouri. The award was presented to Millie for leadership, as president of MADD, in the grassroots effort that established the lifesaving national standard for drunk driving at .08 percent blood alcohol concentration (BAC).
MADD and Long Distance, Internet Service Provider, PowerNet Global, Partner in Fundraising Effort
PowerNet Global Communications, an integrated communications provider, has been selected by MADD to offer long distance and Internet services to supporters nationwide. For every MADD supporter that signs up for long distance or Internet service MADD will receive 10% of the revenue. Any individual or qualifying organization can designate MADD as its charity of choice.
MADDvocate Magazine Empowers and Supports Victims/Survivors
Hot off the presses, MADDs newly updated victim magazine, MADDvocate, aims to help victims and survivors of drunk driving and other crimes by providing informative news, helpful resources and tips, and legal updates that will arm readers with knowledge and power.
SCCA Driver Revs Engine For MADD
Kevin Dutton, SCCA Pro Series star, will be "Driving Home the Message" for MADD while promoting special co-branded products to support the cause.
Youth 60 Times More Likely to See TV Alcohol Ads than Responsibility Ads According to New Study
Statement from MADD President Wendy Hamilton regarding a new study reaffirming that TV alcohol advertising is bombarding our youth while responsibility messages are taking a back seat.
USAs Drunk Driving Report Card Drops To "C" Grade
With alcohol-related traffic deaths on the rise, the United States was handed a "C" grade in the war on drunk driving, according to the Rating the States 2002 report card released today by MADD and the GuideOne Foundation. The last time MADD issued the Rating the States report was in 1999 when the nation earned a "C+" grade.
